I saw my friend play it and it was pretty amazing. I played it for about half an hour and i saw that the battle animations were cool and it was a pretty cool strategy game. I wanted to get it but he only had the version in Japanese. :P My friend also saw one that came out in Japan for the DS, but it costs about 50$+ for the game and shipping. Hope they come out with it for the DS in the U.S. pretty soon.

Wow... someone sure revived a dead thread. But anyway. SRW @3 is by the far the most awesome of the series, with the best animation, and the deepest battle system and a massive story line. I'm waiting for SRW OG to be released for the PS2, as it's a combination of OG1+2, that was previously released on the GBA. This is gunna rawk. Yey. :P

Already played most of the Super Robot Wars series...except from some of those SNES,NES, Gameboy, Gameboy Color consoles...but it is a great game once you understand its controls...Alpha 3 is the best series at the moment but watch out for Super Robot Wars Z...it has a lot of new line-ups...and also Super Robot Wars A remaked to be played on PSP console coming from GBA console...looking forward to the new animation attacks...

I too can't wait for SRW Z to be released I really love what they did with the game awesome graphics (You should watch some of the previews on youtube to see what I mean) And not to mention the roster of cast included in the game (Eureka 7 or Aquarion anyone)
