I think mario is alot better than sonic becuase first of all mario came before sonic and the extensive worlds in mario are amazing, and mario is basically a legend while sonic its on its way there

My first game was sonic the hedgehog. I loved it. But Mario has done much more to become better. People just need to realize that.

Mario is #1. Sonic gets boring colleting rings, i prefer coins =). Plus mario is kickass, and so legendary

I have to agree with this and I also like the games because you could play 2P.I grew up wanting to play all Sonic games that were released on Sega Genesis, which I eventually did. So it's Sega for me all the way!

money wise it has to ne mario. also gameplay wise i has to be mario. speed wise though its sonic
also, get the new gbasp with backlight, it's the best gameboy ever.

if it is quality of games that you are comparing then Mario wins all day long. Either way if sonic ends up in smash bros brawl then this post may get answered.

the most ancient battle in history of video game i stay with sonic because my first console was the mega drive2 that comes with "sonic the hedgehog". in other words my first game ever played

I'd have to say Mario on the terms that I never really became a fan of Sonic. I never got into the shows, old or new. The games never attracted me because most of them were racing games anyway, and I'm no good at those.
