In a fight Sonic would win with his Speed, agility, and those blade like needles on his back. But mario win at Video games. Since all mario games are good and Sonic has a couple of flawed games.

Gotta love Mario, man...The sonic games never really got off on the right footing in the 3D world, there's glitches, bugs and random deaths everywhere...It's not too fun for me..ahaha

Uuuuh.. Mario. Who wouldn't love a cute, round guy with red shirts/hats and blue overalls. Not to mention his sweet mustache, ahaha. But no, seriously speaking I just liked his games better.. and he wasn't as annoying.

I'm in the exact same situation. My first game was the Genesis game Sonic the Hedgehog 3, and back then, I always thought that... SONIC ROCKS!Sonic was the first game i ever played, and ill never forget the first time i laid eyes upon that blue ball of spikes ( sighes)

Mario though simple is a lot deeper and funner than sonic, sonic is just run in a straight line and get to the end, mario has story and adventure.
