I am a girl and I play games!I like strategy and role-palying games (for GBA)Fighting and role-playing (for PS1 / 2)I also play Diablo ( Fighting/ slaughtering monster game). I love it!In arcades I like to play the japanese gun shooting game (the one that you have to stand in the area and move about to doge the bullets and shoot). I can score higher than boys ok? So who says that girls should stay away from video games?

I think it's rare that girls play games, and the ones I've seen play games have sucked at them.

True, AnGeLiC . AyUmI-chan, we are humans! But I think those girls who play games, they are under two catergory. The first one, those who are bad at it. The next one, those girls who score higher than boys.Like I said, I can score higher than boys in the games(I used to be in the top 10 in the arcade. Used to as I have not been there for months...) I saw some girls who beat boys when they play the 2-player fighting games...So those girls who play, either are pro, or are very bad at it.And I have seen many girls(my friends) who love to play cute games and they still suck at it. Thier eye-hand coordination is like...no comments/hopeless...

Yeah, maybe. A few girls I know have PS2s.Girls can play video games. I don't have anything against it. Besides, it's a turn-on for me.yea girls do play but why is it always gamecube??all the girls that i know that play always play gamecube...is it just me?

I am a guy but I have seen many of girls play video games and not just the cutsy ones either. Many of them love Zelda. Heck my sisters scare me when I see them playing one of the Lord of the Rings game. I swear I have not see that kind of hostility except for in Mortal Kombat. We all know how violent and hostile we get when playing a Mortal Kombat game. Also the reason some of you have never seen a girl playing a video game is cause you all are always locked up in your room playing video games and surfing the net for porn.

Yes girls do play videogames, I know quite a few that play Halo, WoW & Counterstrike. But it really boils down to whatever floats your boat.

That 10% that don't know girls play games....just...wow...I can't believe it. A whole ten percent. My ex girlfriend was more hardcore on Zelda and Mario than I could EVER be. Then again...I didn't own either system anyway...they were my brother's

I dont generally think any differently of them than a male player. however I respect them slightly for actually playing a game which is seen as "a boys game".Most girls who play games like HL2 and D3 own anyway
