As a guy, I detest girls who 'claim' that they game all the time like guys and b***h on about how sexist men are toward the 'gamer girl' section. Why can't they say they do things like Martial Arts, Basketball, etc... All though quite afew who do still are drama-queens in real-life, but that's not my main point. But Moon Child... very well said.
Even as a female I get annoyed by seeing all of the justifications they come up with. You play video games, well good for you. You don't need to come up with an entire feminist movement over it. I'm pretty sure females who work in the gaming industry aren't strutting around the offices saying, "I am woman, hear me roar!" holding a controller. And if they are I'm sure her co-workers want to secretly strangle her. I just like to see both sides of the argument. No one ever stands up for the guys and it's about time someone did. It just has to be a girl because if guys defended themselves they'd be called asses.
