the reason why girls don't reallie play games or suck at them is because from early childhood, we were given crap games to play while all the boys got the cool stuff. cool games like tekken, soul calibur, prince of persia, zelda, etc. were marketed to boys. girls got crap like disney princesses and hannah montana. the trend continues into adulthood were mgs4 and gears of war are marketed towards guys while females get cooking navi. of course girls are gonna go around thinking games are stupid.

with my last two girlfriends, I've tried slowly intoducing it to them, so they will enjoy it instead of playing because I do... I find GTA: Vise City works well. Also, try it when they are sick, that way they are stuck on the couch and board enough to 'get into' an RPG, then you have them... Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars is great for non-gamers...

Girls playing games is sorta cute and nice, but those who are mentally addicted and shout the game's name everywhere, that's when it's bad... I don't really care if I lose to a girl in any other games, no girls are good enough to beat me in my dreams, and Guitar Hero :doom:

... to be honest, I like girls who play games more than finding girls in the internet, making friends for some time, and finally the big moment... ~_~I'm not a geek, not a nerd, I'm me that's who I am, ye ye ye... ~_~ girl or guy, no difference, the only thing that makes girls weaker than us in games and those stuff is because they aren't interested at all, like the young girls, they're more interested in tea stuff, while the grown up girls are more interested in romance and getting guys... (No offense to some girls here)... I'm not voicing my opinion, it's the fact, and what I say are facts, you would think/say the same way/thing too...

Just because we don't hear about them that often doesn't mean they don't exist.I know some people that seriously stand behind the statement that girl gamers don't exist just because they don't know any of them or haven't met/heard of any. ^_^

i could seriously care less if they play em or not. its just my sis lolz. she is annoying if i win she can get mad lolz. still it donsnt matter. they can play em all they want to. they can ignore em if they want to as well

I mean, I have a sister who beats pretty much every game she has, from F-Zero GX to Call of Duty, and burnt dignity aside, I'm beginning to appreciate how fun it is to watch a girl kick arse.

Come on. What's wrong with girls playing games? You know now they even released Tokimeki Memorial for Girls!!! LOLI'm also a girl. I play RPG, strategy, puzzle games and click games. Even tokimeki for girls :(I don't like sports games. Fighting games I only like Guilty Gear hehehe but difficult to play

As a matter of fact, my cousin (a 12-year-old girl) is an avid fan of the Call of Duty and Medal of Honor series. Sure, it's cool if they play games because it makes it easier for some people to start a proper conversation with them. Games are a form of art, open to anyone. There are games for everyone... hell, if my mother loved playing Pac-man then every other female on the planet can find a game for them.
