ever since i came to college, i've been getting a lot of weird stares from the girls around here whenever i say that i'm a girl gamer. its like all the girls here care about only shopping and boys.

I know at least two girls into gaming and they like all genres except for those horror/survival ones, which is pretty cool ssince they mond the gore and blood.

why shouldn't they be allowed...that's kinda sexism theory practicing if they couldn't. First they couldn't vote and now people are saying they can't play video games. it's suffarage all over again.

I would really love to see more (cute) girls play computer games, having things in common gives a speech subject,,, and well you can never stop talking about games;) there's just too much to say

Yeah, games are now even enjoyed by girls. My sister played resident evil all day. Quite cool for a 12 years old girl

i think theres not a problem if girls play games. i actually think its cool if im playing like soul calibur with a girl and she totally kicks my ass. its kinda hot and besides games and technology shouldnt be gender-descriminating, for that you already have the rest of the world..

i find that girls who play videogames are more into rpgs or adventure games like final fantasy and zelda. but that's cool with me.

My girl friend loves halo. She can kick my ass at pokemon, and owns her own DS. (No other consoles, as I already own them, and we live together). So yes girls are gamers to. Girls, just like guys play different types of games for different reason.

not many girls i know play video games,but i hate it when guys are like "OMG YOU PLAY VIDEOGAMES, YOU CANT BEAT ME YOURE A GIRL"but most guys i know think its c00l that i have skills when it comes to video games : )

Oh my god >_<I hate when people think girls don't play!I've been playing my whole life, and am just as good (Or better ;D) than all the guys I know.Anyone who thinks girls can't play should be slapped upside the head.Hard.

My fiance is a gamer, of course her games of choice are like the sims, civilization, and lost. However I do get her to play a lot of co-op games with many from all kinds of different consoles. She even beats me sometimes in fighting games, but forget about me trying to get her to play a first person shooter. She gets mad cuz I "kill her too fast." I have other friends that are girls that play games too, guitar hero, reservoir dogs, the psp, and the wii. I don't think girls should be discriminated at all, I mean look at Morgan Webb from G4, she can kick a lot of butt in videogames.
