id be surprised if a girl loves to play games. none of my friends that are girls never liked playing video games.

i believe that girls do play games, most of the games we play involves some mind power... not just a game that involves XXX or AAA or mindlessly tapping the button over and over again i also believe that some guys only play games with decent pictures and hardly any story line involved. i enjoy RPG racing car games(only if they have the 2002 subaru impreza or wrx) and other decent games with a story line as well as action.but some games i really like boys seem to dislike them very much like sims, which i believe was mainly made for girls, so if they made a game based for girls what does it say for this topic.ps i would play alot more if my boyfriend wasnt on it all the time.

Girls should defiantly play VG's. That way, they won't get mad if your up till three sitting on your computer, or xbox, or whatever you own. Because they would understand. Although you might want to get a second T.V. Depending on how much she is on as well. =p

Huray for girls :3 Yey! I don't care if girls beat the boys, i just enjoy playing game, but i like to kick my brothers ass >=(my most favorite console to beat my brother up is Wii

I didn't realize females were so scarce on DGemu. Hm.Well I'm a fan of video games of pretty much every kind you can imagine. Survival Horror, racing, fighting, platformers, etc. iirc some of my very first video games were Need for Speed and Doom 2 among others. That's not saying I'm not a fan of cutsey games either, because I am as long as they're fun and not idiotic.Oh, and yes, I'm a girl. Shock, horror, etc.

It's just like with guys they all have different taste in games, It depends on what they like but I think a larger number of girls don't like games just beacause there is no real reason.

who says girls can't play? i'm a girl, and i'll play whatever you throw at me! for the first 13 years of my life, i've been a pretty hard-core gamer. it's kind of died off now because of school, but i still love video games! >

Oh lord, don't get me started on the girl gamer topic.However, after skimming through some pages, I'm happy to hear that most are acceptable with girl gamers. What i find irritating as a competitive female gamer in the fighters genre is how males react when they're beat at a game they believe they are good at. My frame of references if probably different than most, but I can say with utmost certainty that there will be innocent and beautiful women that play games and aren't only good at them, are also just as passionate as male gamers.I digress though, power to all female gamers and are proud of it!

Why shouldn't they? Girls can do anything guys can do. And yes I know that its a little freaky to know a girl thats a total freak over video games, but guys do it to, and to a more extreme.

Most of the games out are FPS, infact First person shooters are the most competative genre of gaming. I dont think girls like walking around with an M4 and blasting peoples heads off. Its not they cant they dont prefer to.Girls prefer games like Phoenix Wright/ Pokemon. That the only games i've seen girls play!

She's about a minute off from beating the Mega Man X world speed run record and I think around two minutes off from beating the Kid Icarus world speed run record. She runs her own Smash Bros tournament crew, and I believe the only female that runs one in the world. She can play it all, really, and normally kick my ass at them, from Smash Bros and Guilty Gear to Dr. Mario and Super Mario Kart (she's yet to be beaten by another human, and has played in at least two states; not saying she's the best ever, but definitely a beast). She's also played, or plays, Gears of War, Team Fortress 2, Bionic Commando (the classic, of course), Shatterhand, and has probably played more classic games than I can imagine. She likes fighters, 2D space shooters (especially Galaga), RPGs, and is an avid fan of the Mega Man Classic and Mega Man X series.Take that girl gamer stereotype and flush it down the toilet. Girls that game aren't all about Barbies and Bratz games. Need another example? I never thought anything about girls playing games being any different than a boy playing until I got to high school. My dad always treated girls as equals, and he's the one I played primarily with for years. I never understood why this was a big deal, y'know? But there's some pre-conceived notion that girls can't play video games, so, whatever. I know plenty who do.

My mom, my sister and my wife all play video games. My mother has won tournaments in various racing games and a couple of FPS games (it seems like no one can touch her if she has a melee weapon). My wife prefers old-school SNES and NES games, but she'll grab a N64 controller or play Guitar Hero now and then with me. My sister's ranking on online Halo trumps just about all of my guy friends' rankings; she got in on the Halo 3 beta on the Rule of Three. I think it's awesome that girls play video games, and in many cases, are better than guys.(And yes, all three of them have lives, and in my mother and wife's case, sucessful careers.)

hey, we are all people, who say a girl can't play gamemy friend all play game and play goodand my sister are really good at pc gamesseriosly, i just hardly ever win her on pc gamesof course i'm better then her at video game such as wii and xbox and gamecube though
