I've played all FF games and I have to say that 7 was my fav. Followed by 10, 3(6), and 2(4). The only one I didn't really like that much was 8, because of the junction system.And 12 is kind of weird too with the license system.

3 was just awesome. Class changes and all! All others never really stood out to me, I just sort of found them lacking gameplay...

Final Fantasy 6 is the best one. Then.. it's...Eh. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of any of the rest. Sure, they're okay, but... closest thing would be seven. And it's far inferior to 6.

1.ff72.ff8 and 93.ff6 and ff54.ff4for the record i dun think ff9 was that bad i had fun playing through it.and this was AFTER playing ff7 and ff8 dunno y ppl dun like it and if anybody can handle snes graphics play ff5 a gr8 game considering its age.

Well, everyone knows FF4-7 were all great, a lot of people like 8 & 10 for some reason. Yet no one ever speaks of FF9, which I thought was very underrated.

Well I Have played every last final fantasy game, romancing saga, final fantasy adventure and chronicles game... well just a bout every squaresoft game period. It is in my mind that in descending order Final Fantasy 6, 9, 4, Tactics, 7, 1, 8, 2, 3, 10, 10-2, 11 that is about it.

I feel highly attached to FF3...but I think FF7 is the greatest. Final Fantasy Tactics, both advanced and the original are good too...but those might not count for this thread.
