Final Fantasy 7 was my favorite, followed by 6, 4, 9, 1, 10, 10-2, 5, 3, 2, 8. 8 was my least favorite game. I just did not like Squall whatsoever. Heck, I liked ZACK better.

FF 8 was my favorite, with FF7 coming in close behind, being followed by FFX in 3rd place.

i love medieval themes... for this reason one of my favorites ff is ffIX (vivi is an awesome character)... but the best is ffVII, the story is so incredible, the atmosphere of this game and all the characters are awesome, the bad and good guys, the turks ... the graphics and music are not impresive in this days but this is one of the best rpg's ever... the story of this game is one of my favorites... ffVIII is so good too but not like FFVII... im waiting to play FFXII for ps2, i have a good expectation of it...

I only voted for VIII cuz it's the only one I've played XD. But i hear that VII is the best one.

No your right FF VIII is the best FF game, in terms of character. All other Finalfantasy games all have a average goody good hero main character, whike squall is like a dark horse. At the begining he couldn't care less about other ppl but as the game develops he manages to drop his lone wolf attitude and learns to care for other ppl. In terms of graphics of course the newer game wins, but the character developement, it's the stuff of legends. And to all those who like FF VII, I've said this once and I'll say it again. It's overrated. It's good but not that good. the only reason people like it is that they remember playing the game in times where graphics sucked and you couldn't even save games. It was revolutionary for its time, but pick it up and play it now, it won't last 5 minutes. Don't get me wrong I love FF VII, but it just isn't as good as some ppl think it is. Now the supposedly remake of FF VII, now thats's going to be intresting...

For me its Final Fantasy VII. great battle system the materia system is a good entry and Sepiroth is the coolest bad guy
