well i really liked final fantasy VII dirge of cerberus, and the new Final Fantasy XII is really good too, but i havent played in a while

I prefer ff7. It has a great story and the characters are cool, especially Cloud.

I love all the FF games, but Tactics Advance will always be my favorite.

of all the final fantasies, I would have to say FF8 was my favorite. Ive played every final fantasy but 11 and 3(which im fixing to download) and FF8 is the best shortly followed by FF2, FF4 and FF5

good story,graphics and gameplay are basic for a rpg if your missing one you may have an average rpg and thats something i do not want to play if im going to spend 60 hours.and thats why squaresoft is number one they delivered in every aspect, final fantasy 7 being the first rpg that i played is in my opinion the best rpg ever created with incredible graphics,good story, killer soundtrack and familiar gameplay makes for a great experience.

I go old school with FF6 but I like FF8 for Squall (nuff said) and FF12 for the awesome RT battle system

I agree with Al, i played maybe III on snes but then after that X was the first one i actually picked up and played through
