FF 7 brought RPG's to the mainstream and had a truckload of things to do. But if I had to pick the best I would say FF6 because it had everything Great storyline, involving characters, a great battle system and so many things to do. Also you had the option of ending the game with 4 characters or going to get everyone back. Fantastic game.

FF7 was the very first rpg i played and so even though 8 and 10 were good i cant really judge them to the awesome experience of breaking my roleplaying game virginity

that's hard.... man.... well, if it's in their current state I'd say FF Tactics, but if the graphics are redone, then FF7 wins.

I've played all final fantasy games except Final Fantasy III for the DS. I would say FF VII is on my top 3 FF game but FF VI is my favorite and i consider it the best.

i would say the same, if there wasnt Final Fantasy VIII (with Squall and Co.)But nice to see that only every third said FF7 ;Dff4 for the snes here

The best final fantasy was FF7! The story was so great with many great moment! !I also like very muck FFX even if it was a little a story that the gamers have already saw ina other game (the guy who must save the world from a god)

no doubt final fantasy vii wuz the best one i've ever played, but ff chrystal chronicleswas( i cant believe im saying this, but sorry if this offends any of you out there) was a entire waste of my 20 bucks. at first i thought it was kinda cool , but as time passed, i got irritated playing by myself, and even when i have friends that come to my house or the other way 'round, this game really sucks. the graphics are ok and all, but the story line sucks.thats it.

7 is the best storywise,8 is the best for its complexity in the story,and how it relates to real life,10 for kicking the graphix up a notch.My favorite FF game would be 7,just because it was my first FF game.
