ill vote for ff6, because the variety of characters and good storyline..i hope they will make a remake to 3d someday.. =]now i looking forward to FF4 DS, heard the storyline will be more details..

Hands down for me its FF3/6 SNES/PS1/all the other ports. It had a great story, great cast, great world, great soundtrack, and awesome gameplay.

3 for SNES then 8 for PSX, alot of people rag on 8 but i liked it. mostly what i hear is that they dont like the magic system, and i tend to agree, but you cant totally ignore a game for one small annoyance. i liked the charators and story line. as to 3 well its just the classic, first final fantasy to really get in depth into charactors.

I would have to say out of all of the great FF games there are that FF3 is my favorite because it is the only FF that i didn't beat because when i first played it, it was a rented copy from the microply down the street from my house and it kept deleting my save files and i also still play this game now that i have a computer and emulators 
so all and all FF3 in my opion is the best out of all of them and second favorite would have to be a three way tie between FF7,FF8, and FF9.

I'd always liked FFX, and FFX-2. they were one fo the firsts i played. ive been wanting to play the one with cloud in it. i do own FF-VIII but I've yet to finish it.
