I always liked the original Final Fantasy the best. I always prefer RPGs that my entire party comes to battle. I never understood why I had a party of a dozen people and only three would go to battle at one time.

The best one I played and basically actually finished was, FFIX, iuno, the story line wasn't too bad, and it was one of the FF's that allowed you to battle with 4 members

Absolutly...without question...Final Fantasy VII. And the only reason I give it such a definate answer is simply the story. It was amazing for its time and sephiroth...*Drools* I want that hair.

FFVII, I personally liked this one the best because the gamplay was entirely unique and I think it has the best storyline.

For me FF X is the best : the graphism is good, the scenario is not bad...and the best advantage compared to his predecessor is the voices. The final fantasy's music are always great but FFX doesn't only have musics, it has voices for the caracters. We can better ressent the story, we're nearer to the characters and the scenarii. Of course FFX-2 and FFXII have it too but FFX-2 doesn't really have a good story and FFXII is largely more complicated than FFX. But for my 2nd favorite, I hesitate between FF7 and FFXII. After them ranking is useless because for me all the FF are enjoying whatever.
