Its all about ff3 for SNES!

I definitely agree with this, except as someone has almost surely pointed out, it's truly FF6. I really loved the storyline and how it showed each character and his/her reason for traveling and fighting, and also the magic statues and having the main character with such a unique origin, although I won't spoil it for those of you who haven't yet played this awesome game. :)

FF13 and FFv13 when its comes out, but at the moment it would have to be FF6 and 7 for me - ff6 cos of the espers and different magics - ff7 cos it had a pretty good storyline

FF7, then FF tactics(for the GBA). FF9 and 10 are just pure trash.

I've never cared for the main, numbered series, but out of those, I probably found FFVIII to be the least flawed. They just never had the best gameplay, imo. The story constantly intruded on it. I have enjoyed the Crystal Chronicles games, though. The first one on GameCube was highly flawed but fun, and Rings of Fate on DS is great. My Life As a King, although somewhat far removed from being a traditional RPG, is awesome. It's almost like the other side of an RPG that you never get to experience.

FF XII is the best of all because of strong and complex story and very succesgull graphics as well... When you listen characters talking it's like you're watching the movie. It is really enjoyable.

Definitely FF7 because it is a classic and has the most memorable characters.

6 or 7, I can't decide between the two because I loved both of them for different reasons...

I would say its FF VII's series that's best. Mostly now that's its being developed along with other games with highly detailed graphics.

Hn.. 3 for SNES... or 8... possibly 10 even.. each had their best quality of, respectively: gameplay, characters, and storyline... I would have to give it to 8 though, gun + blade = gunblade... crazy, but it works :(

Id say Final Fantasy. The original. Its alot of fun your restrictions in character selection (some guys can use magic some cant) makes the game a bit more challenging. Whereas later on everyone and their grandmother can use any spell. As for best story line I would go with 10 or 7. Most irritating character award would go to Zell, I often feel that his lust for looking at my gunblade is sexual harassment. Best Villain goes to Sephiroth. Best summon Alexander. Best creature is the Tonberry. Doink!

I'll always pick FFIX for best game, probably because it was my first FF game, therefore I have some kind of special attachment to it.It's so weird hearing people say that they love FFVII; I've always hated that game...*sorry*
