I'm planning on getting the new Xbox instead of the PS3 simply because i already own an Xbox and about a bajillion games for it.

Ill go for Ps3 because of all the famous and good games like metal gear solid 4 and many more , X 360 is not bad either but I entered the gaming world with a Ps and a GBC so Im gonna keep it that way now I have a ps2 and a gba sp and Im gonna get a ps3 and a NDS

well, if the Xbox360 has the same option of the Xbox wich allows you to copy an entire game to the hardrivethen (and minimize the loading) i go forit.oterwise i'll take ps3 'cuz of the final fantasy seriesand graphically talkin' i'll prefer ps3 cuz of the fmv based graphics, since the first xbox didn't use fmv that much except for LOTR:Return of the King (wich i love)

You heard wrong, at this stage their graphics capabilities are gonna end up being pretty much the same, to a point where you probably wouldn't even be able to tell if it wasn't for developers who simply don't know or don't want to max out on the graphical capabilities of the consoles.i heard xbox360 has the best graphics and better graphics than a ps3

Xbox is my choice out of the two (a personal, with out reason, dislike for sony) but I prefer get the Nintendo. It's not about the specs it's the game play and storyline that do it for me.

Bah.Not very sure...not sure about the statistics and details and games etc. so i cant make a very fair choice...however, based on liking only, ill probably choose the xbox 360 if forced to choose(between these 2), coz i own an xbox

I've had too many mass debates about this console wars - why don't we just buy them all and be done with it all. Anyway - the PS3 isn't out until way after the 360, so there's enough time to buy both.

I'd never buy an Xbox...it's just too lame....The lagging sales figures speak loud n' clear...it's a dud...The PS3 has some cool games lined up, but it's too much like everything else out there. might as well play my gamecube or a friends PS2, same poo, just better graphics.I'll go for the revolution.

well the 360 has got halo 3 fable 2 etc comin out but the ps3 has stuff like mgs4 but ill probobly get a 360 since the FF games are no longer copyright to sony but are now to microsoft >_>

this is what i figure if the Blue Ray disc's can hold like 3x or 2x the ammount of a dvd possibly even 4x the ammount how much better does that make everything? longer more indepth especially in rpg's an thats what i play so it could only make everything better an X-Box 360 hasnt really impressed me infact i thought it was doing well until i heard about the whole overheating thing poor microsoft needs to get it together console wise not to get off topic but i also say Nintendo has a great chance of blowing maybe both of them out of the water or at least X-box because so far they have had some very innovative ideas that no one else has thought of yet just an opinion though i mean look at DS it did quite well in Japan they still cant stock them an here they are doing decent an out selling PSP so they are doing something right but anyway im for the PS3!

PS3 is gonna definately be better. The disc read speeds are better, the GPU is better, and developement rates in games are better too. PS3 is better hands down.

I'm not sure what will happen, but I have a feeling it'd be like what happened to Dreamcast: Released too early therefore p00pier than later releases.
