Hey, I saw the topic for over-rated games, so I thought I would start this one. So, what do you think? In my opinion, more people should check out Katamari Damacy and Phantom Brave.

Way of the Samruai 1 and 2 those games are so great and Star Ocean which people think "a squarenix game that not turned based this will be prolly be ugly" but its good the .hack game don't listen to those 7/10s in the game magazines and Suikoden the second rpg ever created its great the series is all good.

Play .hack with j-audio/e-subtitles. All of them. If you start now, you'll have your end of game data saved for ep4, which *supposedly* integrates with the new .hack game.Transformers was WAY underrated. I suppose I'm biased, but it's definitely one of the most visually impressive PS2 games in existence. The voice acting is superb as well. I never liked the Minicon/Armada crap, but this game is just stupendous, and it's *hard* too. At least, at the hard setting of course.

freedom fighters was an excellent game. Its made by the developers of the Hitman series, and it's alot of fun ordering your team to do stuff.beyond good & evil is definetly an underrated game. There's so much stuff to do in the game it's just plain fun to take pictures and collecting orbs and stuff. Everyone should check this game out.

Oh man, Katamari is ridiculously good, I got it for my birthday since at first I refused to buy it. It is SO good.It's actually kind of...insane-making too. The music is just so...weird, but happy-feeling. And besides, don't you want to roll over a dinosaur? Muahah

I happen to enjoy Way of Samurai 1&2 too. Let's see... more underrated is probably Ys: Ark of Nephitism.

I have to agree about Star Ocean, it's a very fun game, even if the story can be slightly lacking. For me the unexpectedly awesome game has to be Frequency, it was a PS2 release title, then forgotten about, but I'd played it on the demo disc and enjoyed it, and when I eventually decided to get it, it was hard to find so I had to use Ebay, but it was definitely worth it.

Couldnt agree more, I had it for my cube and completed it. I just had to buy it a gain whn I got my PS2.freedom fighters was an excellent game. Its made by the developers of the Hitman series, and it's alot of fun ordering your team to do stuff.

I think the kessen series are a little underated. Most people hear KOEI and think DYNASTY WARRIORS. A hugely ounderrated game was turn based strategy game from KOEI called Saiyuki.

Hey don't forget great games like metal gear solid 3,initial d(japanese racing game),kaido battle(hard racing game same as gran turismo),andDevil may cry series.

i also say MVP Baseball. that game is so good but not alot of people like baseball games but this is by far the best one ive ever played

Ok 2 that i think of for now 1 is lunar 2 and 2 is metal arms glitch in the syestem both GREAT games.... just no publicity

Dark cloud is very playable i have had it for years and still haven't completed it(thats not because its boring and i don't play it much) and the storyline is ok too you can't buy it any more and the graphics may not have been the best its an old game but its still good B)

I think rez is pretty underrated,although it did came out for dreamcast first,still it's a ps2 game as well and it's damn cool

All of the Suikoden games are pretty underrated while the Kessen games are very underrated.

I think Twisted Metal Black and any ESPN Sports titles are underrated. Electronic Arts always seems to win even if there is better competition.
