I think the elephant is the strongest i can think of at the moment. Unless your talking about brains that can create huge nuclear machines. The answer would be us humans in that case.

you're definetly wrong gorrila is just one of the strongest if it is strong then why on earth it can't fight a horse.....and why the hell in physics we use Horse Power and not Gorrila Power.....and that makes the horse strongest....

there are a few factors here... strongest "for its size", animal that would win the most fights, lift the most weight as it is etc.?the rhino beetle is the strongest in terms of being able to carry the most of their own weight i believe...but otherwise, the first thing that comes to mind... is a polar bear. no reason :P

and why the hell in physics we use Horse Power and not Gorrila Power.....

Why? Because James Watt, the inventor of the term, worked in a coal mine where ponies lifted coal out of the mine. He reasoned that a pony could 33,000 foot-pounds of work in one minute. Hence, 'horse'power. It wasn't the strongest animal; it just so happens that Mr.Watt did not have access to a Gorilla or an Elephant. How inconvenient. Now shut up.Oh. To give this post a smidge of relevance, I'll go with the Dolphin. They beat sharks up. That's badass.

I think that the strongest animal is really subjective. If youre measuring strength through how much they weigh, or because of how much momentum they can build, then I'd have to say an elephant..

i read somewhere that ants can carry something many times their own weight... but come on, ants are like, *squish* it's dead. size DOES matter i guess.
