I would say the elephant. Elephants are strong cuz they have the power to knock down a tree simply by scratching their own itch. And hexafire good job in using a quote for it does make sense. Humans are actually quite weak compared to the rest of the world if we had no weapons whatsoever.

The Elephant, the Rhinoceros Beetle, and the Ant were having an argument about which one of them was the strongest animal. Well... pound for pound, an Ant is the strongest animal on earth for it can lift many times its own weight (don't know the exact number)

Actually, the strongest animal pound for pound is the Hercules Beetle. They carry 20 times their weight.

I think it is gorilla... but a book says like is a kind of beetle which can carry something more than 100 times its body weight...
