It all depends what the console could do, which games it supports, which other features it has, ...Probably I would because their products were always very good. But deeing as they're not producing any hardware any more, just concentrating on game programming, I don't think this will be a subject in the near future.

I wouldn't because I'm sure SEGA has contracts with other companies, so the games they make for a new console will probabily be available for the other consoles, and most people are reluctant to buy a sega product again, Genesis... FailureGameGear... FailureSegaCD... FailureSaturn... FailureDreamcast... FailureYou can only be so confident in a company, but when they produce crap, more and more of their future products will be crap! They knew it, by pulling out of the console business and stuck with development, trust me, I prefer some Sega Sport Games over EA, or Activision

Maybe under commercial aspect Sega failed with her consoles, but if you play some of them you'll realize what power sega has:Play Shenmue on DC, it's still better than a lot of recent games, and it has beed developed 6 years ago..Same argument for Saturn.I think genesis was a succes, it is for me. I even play some games, like boogerman, castle of illusion, spiderman, flashback.. a good game still remain a good game, even 10 years after his development.P.S. I saw a genesis-like joypad with built in 5-1 ea games, sold in 2005, so it can't be so bad :DFifa 94 Rulez :rofl2:

It's cool to come back this thread now, with E3's news of the XBOX 360, Revolution, etc. ( ;Anyway, I'd buy a new SEGA console in a minute. As a child, I was one of the few that chose my Genesis over my SNES, and that continued through to the Dreamcast (Genesis -> SEGA CD -> SEGA Saturn -> DC).

Well, with n revolution you probably can download all n games, nes snes n64...but what's the utility if even ps2 can run nes and snes games? Any new generation console will play retrogames, i 'll not pay to download it from nintendo servers...Use emu instead, and play it on Ps3 ;)

I wouldn't hold my breath here, I do not think we will see another system from SEGA, the good news is that they can focus on game development though.

I would buy it. In my opinion Sega is more innovative than Nintendo. The reason it fails is because so people are too shallow to see into the system. I owned a Dreamcast during its dying days and enjoyed playing the available games on it way more than the ps2 games, especially Shenmue and Jet Grind Radio.

I don't really like sega, but if it looks like a fine consol and pretty good graphic, sure why not, oh and price would matter too

wow...that's a tough question for a megaman NUT...altho..especially if you count all the side games that fall in the original series (like Super Adventure Rockman and Mega Man Battle & Chase) I think I'll hafta go original. Zero beats X IMO, just cos the characters and story line got weak. BN is 2 much like pokemon to be a fave (i say that even though I have both versions of all of them *lol*).Legends was pretty fun...wish they would come out with 3 but it looks dead
