Duke Nukem 64 is great if you just want to soot bad guys and aliens but if you also like some spy stuff with your shooting then go for perfect dark or winback or 007 goldeneye those are pretty cool games too.

GOLDENEYE IS THE BEST SHOOTING GAME... IF YOU DIDNT KNOW... THIS WAS THE BEST GAME OF 1998. A GAME FULLY DAPTED FORM THE MOVIE, A NUMEROUS VARIETY OF WEAPONS, NEMYS, OBJECTIVES AND CHARACTERS. BUT IF YOU WANNA TRY THE BEST OF THE GAME, GO INTO THE MULTIPLAYER MODE, ITS EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE AND FUNNY!!! I YOU HAVE THE GAME YOURE A VERY LUCKY PERSON

Goldeneye was definitely my favorite shooter for N64. It combined everything that a liscensed videogame should have, such as nostalgic moments from the movie, on top of tight control, enticing missions, and cutting edge graphics

Perfect Dark easily, the campaign was OK but the Multiplayer (Combat simulator) was immense

i think its actually a tie between goldeneye and perfect dark. i think goldeneye comes out ahead though in the end.
