I think that a digital animation movie (much like Final Fantasy) would prove interesting, as long as they stayed true to the storyline and didn't horribly butcher anything. A movie could prove interesting, especially if done as something like Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories; somewhat of a side-story that adds to the plot, making it more interesting and introducing new concepts and characters. I would be absolutely horrified if they turned the potential movie into an actual cartoon though, especially so if it were anime. I think that it would be incredible if the movie could be done, as said earlier, like Star Wars, with mostly human actors and digital animation (hopefully not too obvious, else there would be some major criticism) mixed in. That would be very hard to do, and would probably take quite a bit of time, but a Halo movie could be very well done and bring not only X-box, but Bungie as well, quite a bit of money. That money could really boost the possible Halo 3. And I know we're all just waiting for another sequel.And on the previous topic, if you've ever seen the making of Underworld, the elites could easily be played by humans. Jackals, Hunters, Brutes, Prophets, and the larger Flood wouldn't prove too difficult for a human actor; the Grunts would be somewhat of a challenge though. So really... most of the movie could avoid extreme digital animation, which is something that most people look forward to in a high-tech futuristic movie like that.

i hope the realisator isn't just a guy doing a lousy movie with a good name on it just to make cash that'll ruin halo

but if da movie came out, microsoft will still make more money from itthey are da one getting richer, we are da one enjoying their enterianmenti bet when it comes out, their will be a big hype just like halo2, how there were a big qeue, before da game was reasled

Generally movies pf computer games don't work out to well. It would be difficult to make a good Halo movie due to the many manyways ibn which they can quite easily screw the entire movie up.

if they make it in realistic, like real peopleit will be a wastebut if da movie is in 3d, it will be okbut why making halo movie, when the 2 games are like a movie anywayyou know what that meansthey are deifinalty making da movie, cuz halo 3 is coming out of x-box360, so most game that come out like spiderman movie, x-box movie, so it mean halo 3 will be about the movielet me do some reserach about it

I think it will be pretty lame I mean alot of movies based on movies really suck and well I bet this will be no different I don't really want to see it I think Bungie might be making a mistake

wtf?! movies based on movies?! anywho, that's a movie that i'll be watching no matter what--even though it's almost guaranteed to suck. chief is like the worst movie-hero. u never see his face; he barely ever talks; he has no romantic interest (unless you count cortana, lol); AND all he ever does is blast covenant and flood into tiny bits. with guns! swords would be so much more stylish, but noooo, chief has no signature weapons. no nunchucks, no staffs, no double handguns that he always carries, and the sword that he barely uses is stolen from the covenant. a movie with the Arbiter as center...now that'd be a good movie.

As Long as they dont screw the halo name i wont mind heck I'll go see it to be the judge of it. if the movie suck it would bring down halo 3 and if it rox it would bring up halo 3. kinda and win or lose type of thing. I would risk it too.

if they try to make this movie with real actors i will garentee you that it will suck. but if they make it in 3D and stuff it will be ok i guess.

have u guys read netihng 'bout it? microsoft is making the studio that make it work very closely with bungie so they dunt ruin the story line for halo and make up stuff that never happened and they have to put like 10 million dollars or sumthing like that down...its most likely goin to be in cgi(computer generated images) like ff: advent children is...i dunt think m$ wants this to be a crappy movie and just rip ppl off by puttin a halo name on it..i thikn itll actually turn out good

I was also very skeptical of Halo becoming a movie... but apparently, they now have Peter Jackson of all people directing it, and I'm inclined to believe that it will be great, if he is behind it.

If i were bungie, I would make a movie to end of the series. Because Halo 1&2 were practically the same story-wise. You save this thing, blah-blah. If they continue it, it'd get boring. It would all be the same, with weapons an exception. I think they should make it like Halo 4, to finish of the game series. Halo 1,2 and 3= GameHalo 4= Movie

i think they should have the movie as a bit of a thing to sort of explain some of the story in the games and to explain what you didnt get to hear about in the games, i think this movie might turn out as a really really good movie, but thats just me...
