No that was a stock photo, not a set render, though we probly have done it before, It would be cool to do another one.

IMO, the current theme sucks. People just have to use any random TV character render, and its fits the "theme". =\Edit: Oh, silly me, people already [i]are/[i] doing that.

It has been a while since anything goes anyway, with just a 12 years old explanation you could fit a sheep in a technology theme.

Heh. Milo, you could enter with your current sig I think. I think I'll enter the current one as well. I already have a show in mind. Even though I haven't watched tv in weeks since I don't have one in my dorm room.

we should also have a signature of the year at the end of the year... ofcourse this is a recommendation for next year, and it should run the whole month and be freestyle... that would be cool...

hehe i think the mnost creative one is vectors, hoping no 1 uses vec brushes :D but most people dont hav ethe creative side to make vectors so they stuff a stock/render with some text. i duno it just crossed my mine XD

vector brushes are considered rastor pieces... vector pieces are done only with the pen tool in photoshop or a vector program (corel draw, adobe illustrator, flash etc...)

Maybe a Kindergarden Style Theme...hand-drawn renders with little stick figures =O Funny to see people with an awsome background and a stick figure drawn by a little kid >.<

So preety much the only requirement of this week's SOTW is no render?Does that mean we can use anything else we want?

But, brushes are done using renders, filters and pen tool, how will you notice what's a brush and what isn't?

Also you could make a sig, then turn it into a brush, then just brush an 'brush sig' onto a canvas. I think the rules should also be stricter on the themes. Like this theme lets you use different tools other than brushing. It's basically just a renderless theme. To stay on topic, I think a good theme would be an emotion, like sorrow, cheerfulness, etc.

well, if you made a sig into a brush, it'd be monotone...so I mean. Whatever.and this idea that brushes are cheap is pretty stupid and I don't understand it at all.

while you guys keep rambling on about this sotw, i suggest next weeks theme to be...current events perhaps?wide variety to pick from, and the possibilities are limitless on what could show up in the sotwif not current events then maybe... uhmm, never mind, cant think of much else for the time being :o

it would have to be something more general, a sparkle brush set, an abstract brush set, fractals, etc... no vector work imounless its a people set, no abstract vectors.anyway i think a set render is always the best choice, but this one has alot of horrible entries because not many people are using the render in a good way, they try to hide it or use it in ways that someone could use with any render at all. and thats the most important part about set stocks, renders etc...ill probably use that render just for fun pretty soon

or maybe a distortion sotw? we get a render and have to distort it into a set subject, like if we got a person render and got hte subject undead/zombie, we would have 2 make a sig with it and make the render look like a zombie
