Heh...I like Anima...C'mon...a grappling hook comes from the sky, goes through the ground, and pulls out a monster that is wrapped in chains, snarling and growling...that is just flipping kewl.

The best summon is Anima in FF - X cause with all the dark powers and chains coming from under the ground

Bahamut owns all, except Eden from FF8, and Ark was pretty awesome in FF9.Theres no Bahamut in FFXII

I'da say Anima from FFX but since he isn't on the list I chose the Magus Sisters because they were pretty bad.

It totally depends on the game.Bahamut ZERO in VII was awesomeDiabolos in VIIIArk in IXAnima in Xand Ultima from XII.Those were all sick summons

I vote the great Knights of The Round! I remember seeing them dishing those 13 x 9999 damage for six consecutive times (mime materia to all character) for my finale against the Emerald Weapon! I really can't figure out how you can beat it without the KoTR.. Omni Slash maybe.. just like Ruby, but I just can't pull the same stunt with Omni Slash with Emerald, I figure it's because all of the gems in its shoulder kinda distract it's target so the damage is not focused on the main body. Not to mention the time limit!

The coolest summons for me is Bahamut, Yojimbo, Ramuh, Ifrit, Ixion and Odin.

Anima is my favourite, over 100k damage most times...I liked the Chocobo from 7 too, the fat one!

Hmmm. It'd kind of be cheating if I said Knights of Round from FFVII - that summon kicks donkey!! - cus it eliminates the enemy almost every single time because it's so pwnage. If not Knights of Round, I'd go with Anima from FFX. Just because... oooh the angst of it all! I love that extremely poor and beautifully suffering creature. (Not sure about the gender, but I reckon it's a she. Anyone with me? 
)

hmm..well the summons are cool,but i made a list ....i think1.anima((ffx))=his attacks mae everything seem like childs-play.2.bahamut((ffx))=same thing as number 1,but is somewhat a little weaker,3yojimbo((ffx))=his attacks a very stylish and have a certain ring to it,but the bad thing is....you have to pay just for him to do something 
4.belias((ff12))=his "ellfire"putsa anything to shame,but his is one of the weakest in the game,but he still looks cool5.magus sisters ((ffx))in unity,they can take down anything ,but they are not very good for me :)this would be my list for now,for i still have not completed final fantasy 12...

I choose Leviathan, especially from Final Fantasy IX. He (or "It") looks really cool when summoned 'cause a big wave forms behind him!
