Love 'em both, but I have played more RPGs than FPS in my life, so my vote go for FF and company.

Ooh... This is a tough one for me.I was raised playing FPS games, such as Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, Quake, etc. However, I love a good story, and RPGs can deliver that a lot better than any FPS can.They both have good points and their bad points, but I would have to say that RPGs are just a but better.

I always love a good mix in my games, keeps yer interest. Most of the time when a game has that many elemets, it usally has a deep story which makes it better.

mix RPG and strategy and you've got it.. a good storyline with a bit of thinking makes for a great game.. plus simulation games are good too, like harvest moon and the sims etc, where u can just do wat u want

All about the Mix of games. Everybody knows GTA is still rulin the Ps2 today 
. I love RPG games too but I just voted Mix because of that simple fact. But my 2 favorite are Mix and Rpg hands down!!!

i like rpgs because of the storylines there are different storylines for each rpg and you get to use 3 -4 charas at once

I love RPG games. Sure in terms of level-up it could get boring and repetitive, but the storyline is what makes it great. Final Fantasy 7 and Kingdom Hearts are examples of good storylines in my opinion.
Regardless of warnings, the future doesn't scare me at all...

Personally, I like using my mind. Games like Lemmings, and thinking games are cool. Though I picked stratagy for my vote. Real-time stratagies like AOE2, Tiberian sun, and Starcraft are my favs. After that comes shooting, Mixed, then Adventure I suppose. I like RPGs, but only some. It can't be the same turn based "keep pressing A button until you hear the fanfare" like some. Star Ocean for SNES and Secret of Mana's are nice touches to the RPG species.

i think RPGs are great they almost always have good storylines and in many of them (final fantasy 7, kingdom heart and final fantasy x) i have grown very attached to the characters in the game and was quite upset when they died.
