adventure games. or rpg's. anything with good story. but i prefer real time combat. leveling up and turned based fighting make for a tedious game.

I like Fire Emblem, which is a Strategy/RPG, so I'm going with mixed.

I think it'd have to be a mix of RPG elements, Action/Fighting elements and Strategy, which would be my favorite genre. I am a huge fan of Suikoden because of its style and diversity that it offers. I love the fact that at one point in the game you can be walking through a dense forest and the next you could be dueling some villain or leading an army into battle. But, what matters the most to me is a good story. If it has a good story, and solid mechanics I am a happy camper. Of course, a little variety doesn't hurt.

Racing,need for speed as the representater,and wrestling.Oh don't forget about Simulation,the best of all Genre.

i really enjoy a puzzle/stratigy game with a good story line. rpgs are the greatesst type of game, it is always fun to take off on a new adenture

ultimately i chose rpgs but i really wanted to pick puzzles too.i love puzzle quest, its like the two best genres put together.

I like the games that are mixed since, IMO, they are usually the most challenging. Zelda is probably one of my favorite mixes. It has action (slaying beasts and the like), adventure (roaming around Hyrule, the Great Sea, you name it), puzzles (need I explain?), and then the little random mini-games that take in racing and shooting.
