I like speed so I have to go with Marth. Roy is really good though.

I love Marth. He's easy to use and quick on the screen, and he looks cool to boot.

Marth > Roy but i like Roy. why is Marth better? Marth's Sword strength is at the tip of the sword if it slashes there its just as strong as Roy. Also more speed. and Marth atk is actually faster then Roy.Roy's Sword more is from blade of the sword. in Addition of Adding fire power it does more damage.

I would have to say Marth.Roy is definitely more powerful, his up B attack is much better, and his left/right B combo is easier to perform. That being said, he is slower, has to fight enemies closer up, and his counter is harder to perform. Between Marth's speed, ability to fight further away from the enemy, and easy to use counter, he can easily dish out massive damage while taking very little.

I would say Marth is better because in SSBM, Roy was way too slow while Marth was quick.

Definitely Marth. He's faster and more maneuvourable, and can keep his distance from the enemy.of course roy is better because he has more focused power with fire than marth.... maybe im wrong but roy looks cool lol

Marth seems much more controlled, where roy is pretty much just smash evrything you can.

Both of them are great characters, but i would have to go with Roy. Hes may be a bit slower but his attack str make make up for it triple timeRoy or Marth a question most people asked wen SSBM came out. Oh yeah.... and try to add some points to why they're better

Marth isn't that much faster. They are both quick to begin with. Also marth is knocked out of the stadium more easily while Roy can takea beating. Roy has stronger attacks.. the combos are executed the saem.. only for marth you need to do it at a faster pace. The counter is absolutely the same.. only Roy's is a lot more powerful. I use both chars but I do well with Roy.

who's better? it really depends on what u look for in each character. Roy has a higher attack power, but is much slower than the nimble Marth. If u like quickness, take marth, if u prefer brawn choose roy...I personally like marth better thou.

Well Roy owns all in such, but Marth is better you just need to know how to use him, He's floaty and more fluent, just like Jigglypuff Mewtwo Luigi and Kirby. He really needs to have more ground if he's i SSBB, But Overall I'd choose.....Roy. My friend chooses Marth, he's more into speedy characters and Lighter Characters......His 5 top favorites are Falco, Dr. Mario, Luigi, Young Link, and Kirby. Mine are Roy, Fox, Link, Shiek, C. Falcon.......ISNT THAT KEWL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I use Marth way more than Roy, but I find Roy easier to use. Roy is stronger but Marth is faster.
