I've found out that marth is one of the best characters in ssmb (well everyone is good if you know his/her's powers) so yeah i'd choose him. His fast and furious which is good to counter slow AND fast opponents. I never pick Roy because he's too slow, yeah i know he's stronger than Marth but power seldom beats speed. But i don't hate Roy because he's KICKASS in the "sandbag" training level

silly people, marth is faster, parry lasts longer, jumps better, and the point of B is for shield breaks... as for roy, we wont miss u in brawl ^^

lmao noob. ><Point of B is not for shield breaks. His B move is pointless and seldom used in tourny games because it charges at about .7 speed of a smash attack.silly people, marth is faster, parry lasts longer, jumps better, and the point of B is for shield breaks... as for roy, we wont miss u in brawl ^^

I prefer Roy just becuase Im more of an offensive person and roy is stronger but slower

Both seem pretty similar except of course Roy has a 1hit KO move.

This is actually a really good question because the2 are actually almost identical.Im going with roy because his attacks are stronger and as was saidbefore he uses fire.

If you guys are talking about Smash Bros. Melee, the two are both equall to eachother because they are clones of eachother. But if not......I would have to say Roy becasue, when he uses his charge slash, he hurts himself along with enemies.

Marth because hes easier to juggle your opponent. He's aerial moves are also easier to sweetspot. So i'd rather him.

I say Marth because he is faster. Truly, if you master Marth, Roy does not stand a chance since he can't hit him. Trust me, my friend and I tried it and my Marth powned him.

I used to use Roy, but then i wanted a more speedy character... And Marth was there =P.. I think that they are both equal, it just depends what kind of style you want to use.

A definite Marth. He's fast, has a mighty tipper and the Ken combo too. He's just better with AT's overall.

Well Roy can actually promote to second tier and has the Sword of seals.But Marth has Falchoin, but I've never played the first fire emblem, so I don't know how good that makes him.
