Roy, just because of his Fire Bomb sword attack thingy hahaMarth I'd say looks cooler tho especially in his white outfit.

Roy is so much stronger then marth he has really good attacks such as the fire sword.

I liked marth better for some reason, my friend would always choose Roy so of course I just HAD to beat him with Marth.

I prefer Marth, b/c he's a little faster and easier to combo people. Roy is still really good though and I use him in 4 man melees because he hits people further easier.

marth's attacks are strongest at the tip of his blade, making him a range character, and he fast...fast and range souds like a good character

Sorry, Roy is too slow. My best friend picks Fox and he owns slow fighters, so better choose Marth eh? But then I became a "god" over time.

Marth is faster and has better range. He can kill at the tip of his sword and can wavedash longer.

Roy and Marth have the same range, except Roy's sweetspot is located near the hilt of his sword whereas Marth's sweetspot is located at the tip of his sword. That means the fact that Roy has a sword is meaningless due to the fact that he has to get up close anyway, unlike Marth who can and will actually make use of his range. Roy and Marth deal the same amount of damage when comparing sweetspotted attacks, aside from Roy's B attacks which only one or two are of any practical use for attacking.Your argument fails, El Hefe.
