I like it when not a lot of people enter; it means I have better chances at a fluke.I don't think it's the theme though. Maybe it's just a sign of all the good people being bored or leaving the site?That reminds me... Is BB still here?

Haven't seen him around. I think that...bah I don't know, maybe advertise it in the site, so people know they can get OMGCRAZYGPS for entering a simple little signature.

Twas a really hard theme.... Well, *sums things up*Easy themes = More entries.More GPs don't make a difference if it's a difficult topic.Problem: People aren't enthusiastic enough to be bothered to use more than a few braincells on a sotw entry. Solutions: a) Make a series of easy themes to get certain members 'hooked'. Once they begin to put in an entry every week, start putting more and more diffcult themes and then once they're used to those, balance it out.B) Advertise on gfx forums where sig-making enthusiasts hang around. There's always the odd cocky member who thinks they're better than everyone else who'd think "Hey, everyone here sucks. I'll be able to beat them so easily and grab the prize! MUAHAHAHHAHAAHA!." etc.However, these solutions may reduce the overall quality of entries depending on where you advertise.Why am I even doing this? Anything to avoid real work is good, I says. =D

Basically, SOTW is a competition to see who can make the best sig per week based on a specific theme.For example, this SOTW's theme is Halo, so each participant must enter a Halo sig without a post edit.

Ripping is taking a sig someone else made on another site and claim it as your own.
