Query Regarding spleen's new rules:
Well, i use my status as my Name on my sigs, is that acceptable? Since i like the word 'Supporter' in it, I wouldn't use my username since i have different names on different forums e.g. RobotBoy, Raimundo ect...(Spleen or Duce may only answer this for an accurate answer)Entry must have your name on it.

im willing to be fairly 'open minded' with that rule, if you use another name on another forum, or use a nickname or your real name etc it will be allowed. id rather (for now) you just use your user name somewhere, if you think it will take up to much room just use 'kai' or 'kh'. it doesnt have to be blatantly obvious...just there.

hey spleen!I like the rules, like the idea that you will decide the winner yourself if nobody votes, it wil make things faster.Also I would like this rule: "-Entry must relate to the set theme for that week" to be VERY strict... cause sometimes you see ppl winning or getting some votes with sigs that barely have something that relates to the theme.GL managging the SOTW!

i doubt i would every get two sigs that i considered exactly equal, there will always be one winner, if i think that another was very good i will give them special mentions in the winners thread

OK I am a newbie and thought what a good idea SOTW was so entered. Unsure of these forums I did explain I hoped it was right and I hadn't broken any rulesWHAT do you think happened I got banned from the competition for the next twice WHY?No idea what DQ means and those characters are Anime and why the two week ban on the competition?? I didn't do it wrong on purpose?Great way to welcome new people to the site who want to participate.. Ban them from entering for the next two competitions.I threw that together quickly I will knock your socks off next time.

calm down, you should have read the first post in the topic that said the theme had to be comics and it specificallysaid NOT manga (anime)DQ means disqualified. if it will make you feel better we can see what other people think (whether or not this sotw and next is fair) but i stand by me decision. the rules were there, you just ignored em

its true that it may seem a bit too much....but i've seen other sotw's (in fact all other sotws i've seen in every site i've visited) where they accept lot of sigs that should be rejected...plus the 1st post with the topic details is there to be read...so i say it's ok

)However there is this other sentence in the 1st post: "try really hard with the theme, just using a comic render doesnt automatically mean it fits the theme".... i think that rule is the MOST important rule but ppl always forget about it. So its kinda hard to get all rules of sotw fullfilled.BTW spleen: SOTW closes sundays??

umm sotws close saturday night (my time GMT+12 or whatever nz is) and new one opens on sunday. so i guess its only really open 6 days but gives a little extra time for voting and me choosing a new theme etc.

but some sigs suit B+W more than others, and it had been suggested a lot so meh. should probably have said someone about re-using sigs. anyway your a judge so you get to choose which are less shitty and more fitting so
