Probably Advance Wars 2. Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones are also good.

Four-way toss up.SD Gundam G Generation Advance (best system, but the Japanese threw me off)SRT Original Generation 2 (The OG series in general is aces. And the second one has so many great mecha, including the best mecha pair ever - Aussenseiter/Dyzengar! I am Sanger Zonvolt... The Sword That Smites Evil!)Fire Emblem: The Blazing Sword (AKA Fire Emblem, fantastic game and really challenging.)Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones (Another great Fire Emblem - on one hand the slight let-up on the difficulty level is welcome, but in another way I didn't really mind the challenge from FE7)

I played FFTA and Advanced Wars, and I really liked both, so I'm undecided. There really weren't that many strategy games for the GBA in the first place.

I hope I get a minus (-) warning level because I really need discounts on DP Conversions/Loans...

Advanced wars 2 by far. the first is okay but extremely short and not a lot of characters, but Advanced Wars 2 is leagues above any other strategy game that i have played.

NOW I find the official thread. >.> Anyways. The Super Robot Taisen Original Generation series beats the competition in terms of graphics, sound, unit customization, challenge and storyline. For me, anyways.

Hehe, there are only like ten turn-based strategy games for the GBA... so top ten isn't saying much. :D

If it's pure strategy, then I'll go with Advance Wars 2. In Advance Wars 2, you rely purely on strategy to win whereas in Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, high level characters and good equipment help in pounding the opposition. Don't get me wrong, though, I love Fire Emblem and FFTA.

As much as I like Advance Wars, I'll have to go with the Super Robot Wars series. The amount of player controlled variables that can affect the outcome of a battle in these games is simply amazing, and fun to mess around with.

I like the ADVANCED WARS SERIES BECAUSE SOMETIMES THE DIFFICULTY IS HIGH THEREFORE MAKING IT CHALLENGING.
