Fire emblem! currently replaying the original, halfway through the sequel(the japanese one, though I patched it to speak english), and just started sacred stones, and I relized it's the easiest. the Japanese version is so much harder but alot more fun to play!

Just in my opinion, the best strategy game would be the Advance Wars games game play wise, but in terms of overall gameplay, story, character, levels and customization would be Fire Emblem, and next to that will be Yggdra, FFTactics advnce and Tactics Ogre

I agree that fire emblem is the best strategy game out there with some of the best 2d gba graphics i highly recommend itFire Emblem is the best!

Fire Emblem Sealed Sword= Best strategy game ever created. Challenging and fun. You have to download the translation though as it only comes in japanese. Play it then see if you dont love it.

I'd say it's between Advance Wars 2 or Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.However, if I had to choose, I'd choose AW 2. AW 2 has multi-player and is less dependent on level building/unit strength than it is on strategy.Also, FFTA lacks in story (I mean, it had a developed story, but it wasn't that great compared to other FFs, especially FFT).

The fire emblem series is the best. BUT, (just to clear the record) Fire emblem 1 is an NES game only coming in Japanese. Fire emblem 2 is a sidequest of the first and is also only in Japanese. The fire emblem 1 and 2 everyone is referring to is actually 6 and 7, but they are 1 and 2 in order of being released in the US. Fire Emblem 6 is available in English but only through patching the translation onto the ROM. That being said, I have thoroughly enjoyed Fire emblem 5 through 11, seeing that those are the ones i have played and im sure that the first 4 are equally amazing.GO FIRE EMBLEM ps I cant wait for the DS version to come out its supposedly a remake of the first. MARTH MAKES A COMEBACK

Fire Emblem for me, but I like Yggdra Union also, although I am not quite sure it can be put under strategy games, because it is combination of RPG and strategy.
