FFTA is one of my favorite games and it's really fun to keep on playing even after you beat the game. There are just so many things to accomplish in the game, and personally I feel that a game should let you have choices on how a character should be, and FFTA lets you customize the job, the equips, and how your clan should be. :laugh2:

Yeah, I agree with the roxy-swirl. I loved being able to customize my characters, especially because they was a decent range of classes to choose from. Repeating missions got boring and maybe if they made the AI somewhat more intelligent or the bosses tougher, it would have been even better but definitely one of the best FF games, in my opinion.

Childish and have literally no story. It was smart of them to try to reproduce the success they had with the original FFT, but they failed.

I was very disappointed with this game for several reasons. The biggest reason being that all you do is fight. It takes forever to finish a battle, and it's hard to play and not fun when your characters are weak.I wasn't impressed with the storyline, and, as my first FF game, I expected much more from all the great things I've heard about FF.Maybe it's just me, but I don't think this game was worth the money.

Personally I enjoy Final Fantasy Tactics advance because it has a pretty good plot and it takes a while to finish the game. It also is a challenge for moderate good players and I will suggest it to anyone who hasn't played it before

FFTA at least it is better then the GBA versions so in my opinion it is a good game so I hope people will stop thinking negatively about this game. Sorry I just felt like I have to state my opinion. Hope readers won't mind.

I like the FF series, the only problem is: I have only GBA, so I can't play FF7 and god Cloud is AWASOME, :foldarms: but Terra and Celes of FF6 are not to shabby.GPs were deducted for this post, please read the rules! - Hiyou_Pikachu

tactics advanced is the second best final fantasy game, second only to Crystal chronicles, in my humble opinion :D

The best really. Pity it was released so late into the GBA's lifespan. But it really showed what a GBA could do. FFTA2 lived up to it in terms of gameplay, but the storyline was kind of disappointing. If they do create an FFTA3, which i think will probably be released on DS (or PSP :)), hopefully they will try and have a better storyline, maybe include some character development ala KOTOR? But honestly I still feel the tactics line are the best FF games handsdown. If it wasn't for FFTA i probably wouldn't even have started playing and FF games at all. The sheer customization, replay value and the amount of actual strategy involved blew my mind.

It could have been one of the best GBA games. But I was extremely let down by how the mechanics work. Being banned from using magic or even just an item didn't really add any difficulty. It just prevented me from using the abilities I like. When a game prevents you from actually playing the game... it isn't a good game. Not to mention every battle took too long and it seemed like over half of the attacks would miss because of the bogus hit % on every attack, even from behind. The game just doesn't compare to the original in any way.Adding the Bangaa race and Nu Mou's was cool though.

Ever since i read the post in GameFaqs about the guy who beat the whole game with MontBlanc i got dissapointed but i still love that game to the core. Remember my days of 5 viera snipers concealing around with Marche tanking as a Pali then all of a sudden BAM surrounded by arrows 3=D

I always loved FFTA because of the sheer amount of characters you could pick from for each battle, aswell as the different rules in each battle

This was my first game, like, ever. It is also still one of my favorites. I played it until it became annoying for my friends to fight me and my guild, because they'd always lose, :)

This was a decent game, but it really pales in comparison to the original Final Fantasy Tactics (mostly b/c of the story and gameplay). I did like the game overall however.Without the original Tactics, this was a pretty good game. After playing the original tactics, I wish there could have been another extremely moving and great story like the original in FFTA.
