I would say Zero because he makes the most impact in terms of making a game that is side-scroller and collector-RPG for the people who can only afford handhelds.

I'd pick X. I like the option for armor change, plus he's just a classic. (Considering he's an upgrade from the original blue bomber)

I new to megaman but i like protoman and megaman the best another contender is magnetman cause of his raw power in defense. but he needs attack too.

well if its pre-X than I go with Forte (Bass) but for any series after the original megaman I'd chose Zero

bass is pretty cool for a villian.I remember in mmbn2 bass was easy but gospel.....took me 2 days straight non stop to beat him.My cousin fought gospel, used bubblewrap and killed gospel in like 3 minutes..
