I don't have any patience for traditional RPGs at all, can't ever finish them alone.

Start a game and never finish it? Lots of times! I still have a large backlog of games that I plan to finish but never got around to doing it. Heck, I bought games that never even got into my PS2 console because something new and more interesting just got released.Tell you now: I just got KOF 2006 (along with a few other games). I have a feeling that it won't know what it feels like to be inside my PS2 for a long time to come.

Not finishing a game due to disinterest ... that happens to me a lot. I've been playing Deus Ex for the PC, and I just had to quit for a while. Not because I was having trouble with it, but because that game is SOOO LONG. It's a good game, yeah, one of the best ever made I think, but some sections of the game just really drag on. Same thing with Diablo 2. Good game, sure, but long and montonous at times. I've also kind of lost interest in it, despite the fact I've got a pretty good Necromancer going.

Yeah, I have. Final Fantasy 3 I gave up on for a little while after the cave of the dwarves because, well, I don't know. I just said "I'll pick it up again later" then never did. Final Fantasy 2 I stopped playing because leveling up the spells is, as we know, Oh so d*mn fun, just sitting their for hours watching your charicters walk up, selecet, then walk back, then do it all again. And absolutely NO spell EVER started off anything higher than level one, which makes leveling things like Holy, Flare, and Ultima a pain in the donkey if I ever saw one.Of course, there's also Defenders of Dynatron City for NES. I started playing it, but after I got to the Cola factory on stage four, I just...I mean, friggen acid bubbles EVERYWHERE that move in towards you no matter where you are, and keep honing in on you makes it impossible to even finish the level...and unfortunatly, since it's such a terrible game by common standards(the control and aiming makes me think of a rusty shopping cart), no one else has even played it much to give it walkthroughs, or even game genie codes to beat the d*mn thing. (Even on roms with state-save, it's impossible to get through without running into a gazillion bubbles. Oh yeah, and you have to dodge all of those bubbles while fighting killer Robots who can take half your life just by jumping on you.)And of course, there is also Vector Man for genesis. Kinda fun, but rediculously hard, and I got stuck on stage five where I could'nt get past this one wall. I just gave up rather than try to finish it.And then there was Duke Nukem 3-D for Genesis too. I stopped playing though, only because I got stuck on the spaceport level and could'nt figure out where to go from there. Then we have Super Pitfall for NES. Monotony anyone? I wanted to reach into my TV and rip the d*mn speakers out after 40 minutes of listening to the same 8 second long tune over and over again for most of the overture. Not to mention EVERY key item is hidden, and requires you to jump over every last square inch of black background just to reveal items, and the entire field you have to go through is just HUGE. Even with the walkthrough, I got lost, could'nt figure out how to get back to this one tunnel with the easter island heads (Which was CRUCIAL to completeing the game by the way) and I just gave up and stopped trying.Other than that, nothing comes to mind, but mostly the reason I stop playing games is because I get stuck or can't figure out where to go next, more than get bored of them. Although I do get bored of trying to figure out how to get past spots and then stop playing, so, I guess I still get bored and stop playing in the end. Hmmm...*goes off on tangent*

I started Megaman X when I was 6 or 7 I think. I got it for a birthday! I was never able to beat the game until I was 15. So sad...

I give up on games ALL THE TIME. I have such a short attention span when it comes to things, I think they only games I've completed entirely are all the Pokemon games, and all the DBZ Budokai games.

Ive never beaten a pokemon simply because of the fact that I lose all interest before"catching them all". I also have never finished a metal gear solid game due to lack of patienece. The only real RPG I have ever beaten 100 percent was Earthbound. And i love playing RPGs. I heard mother 3 was floating around the net but I cant seem to find a working rom.

Dark Cloud ll. I hate how you have to get 100% on your cities before you can move on. I sold it to Gamestop before I got past the first building a city part.
