One of the best RPG's i've played, such a good battle system, characters are awesome and the music plain rocks. But then again, i do prefer ye olde Tales of Phantasia to Symphonia, probably because of some kind of nostalgic effect that game has on me. But back on topic, a very worthy game to finish, and easily replayable =DBest rpg battle music i've ever heard in a game. Fighting of the Spirit ftw! ty Motoi Sakuraba.

I have it, beat it like 12~ times and almost got everything in the game. The battles are SOOO awesome and how you can play with 3 other people too. That game is the best game on GameCube after SSBM, everyone should play it at least once, even if they don't like RPGs that one might change their mind.

I have this bit I never played it...My brother finished the game... I was just watching the story develop!I'd say this is probably my favorite out of the Tales series!

I love the story, but wish I had someone to play it with. I can't wait for the next Tales for the Wii comes out. I saw Lloyd on it!

One of the greatest games for the Gamecube. Even better than the new one for the PS2. Buy it, Play it, Love it. and then get the sequel for the Wii

AMAZING,i spent a whole summer on the game,not the best RPG ive ever played, but everything is a 10/10,i was expecting a lot less when i bought it, :D

First off, you have the BEST 3D + Anime graphics in the history of GameCube.Then there is the fighting style, where you get to choose the character to fight with, and relying on the character, there are different moves.The storyline is great, so is the sound, better than some dubbed game sounds.Is great Eye Candy for awesome graphics, sound, and storyline.

Tales of Symphonia is one of the most compelling RPG's to hit the cube. The story line is simple and to the point, but as the game developes, complications arise that create such powerful plot-twists, betrayels, and the story-line will change at certain key points, making a good eight or more scenes to watch, but you'll have to play the game over again. The replay value is not the greatest, the battles begin to be tedius, but then again, you can't get everything in the game in just one play-through-it takes atleast three times. What makes the Replay Value even better is the New Game Plus option, where the grade you earn throughout the game can be used to make the game easier, or harder. The music is great, the graphics are amazing, and the voice-acting is...well, okay, it sucked. Seriously, the only downfall for me was the voice-acting. They always had emotion in their voice at the wrong time, and never had it at the right moment. Seriously, though, I give this game a 9.8/10...damn voice-acting!

Alright so its been about two years since I last posted this topic. Since then I've discovered Tales of the Abyss and I found it to be an even better game. I really enjoy the AD Skills which are way better than EX Skills....

Its the game that got me more into the Game-cube because of the game play and the fact that you can controle a character that duel wields swords.

I would absolutely, positively, DEFINITELY get the game.Ignore the price (it was 100$AUD here...), it is 110% worth it.Though there ARE some games that are better - I'd give Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance a 110.5%.

Easily one of the best games on the GC. Excellent storyline, great characters, and an amazing combat system.
