It was good ages ago...but now that i have played more games the graphics are really crap and it wrecks the game. It seems to get revived every now and then at my school though...I definately wouldnt pay for it !!!

No, the whole atmosphere isn't my thing. The fighting is useless and also the socialize of the game is boring.

lolZ.... you know how long "GUNZ" has been around???? since like 2001 or 2000 and NOTHING NEW has ever came out i've played gunz but i quit cuz i got tired of nothing happening. yeah the "physics" its cuz gunz is a fighting game no duh it has to be better in fighting but also runescape its more and has also updates every week at least! and the action on gunz is the same no new weps or anything while rs is comming out with new stuff you can use. im not saying gunz is a bad game its good but its gets borring after a while so duz rs but they come out with new things to do and so it wont get as borring as it would have on those ppls who say its borring are haters and they just plain hate games like rs cuz they suck.>.>people who cry form losing their stuff on a flash game...that's just beyond pathetic. and the fact that gunz has "nothing new" doesn't really matter. CS has "nothing new" for a long time now and quite a few people i know still play it. the general concensus (i think) is that a. it's a flash game...graphics are non existantb. it's a flash game...the combat system is non existantc. it's a flash game...there's not exactly a lot of action on screen when your playoh and did i mention that it's a flash game. take your example of gunz, at has like 100x more action than runescape (the combat system is basically click monster and hope your equips hold out). gunz has an actual physics engine behind it (not a good one i know...stupid butterfliers) and is a standalone application. runescape on the otherhand is quiet easily programmable albeit it would take some time to add on all those "new things"let me straighten things out...1.) people who hate this game is either cuz they played it and they suck at it or they played it and they suck at it or they played it and lost all there stuff and is crying in there room cuz they lost. all those who brag have either more then 1 account instead of being better in all the other stats in 1 or is too dang addictive to it. and other games like "Gunz" that gets old fat nothing has changed except but like 1 or 2 new lvls and nothing else is new!!! no hats or more weps or clothes!!! it just sucks and the lvling up is easy untill lvl 30 and kal and knight online is ok but to download takes forever and it barelly helps you out on how to start and make money!!! there is not a good torotuial in those games...and dont even get me started with rose.... anyways im not saying there bad games but there not just that good overall i think. as for runescape yeah the graphics are pretty ok as for freaking xbox and ps2 but its a freaking web page online game what more do u expect quit hatin. P.S. my friend quit runescape cuz he couldnt make a fire...LOLZ!! i thought that was pretty funny peace.

ITs is kinda of a slow game and the game play is wierd since you have to use the mouse to move and not the asdw which is alot easier after the nonmember's quests its just about making money.there is also no p2p for nonmembers p2p meaning player vs palyer combat since most playeers run ALOT when attacked also you can walk through other people.Only be a member if A) your lvl stats are very high in everythingB)you got your parents creditcard and money to burn.but if you have B just buy something like World of warcraft or something

Runescape..i played it for a long time..till i have enough of it..and give my account to a friend...and i heard from his sister that 'my' account was hacked 
... it's kinda fun thoug...the game i mean...not just only training your attack, but also WC or Fishing...your not seeing that kinda stuff in other games...

I used to play Runescape. I was a member for two years, and now I'm level 106(yes, I have no life :'( ). Yeah, since I'm not a member anymore, I have nothing to do but raising stats to the point where it will be useful in the member world.

I used to play Runescape and I have a level 106 character(I've been playing the game for three years). I tried killing the level 702, I made it there, but I got owned. So after quitting, I've learned how MMORPG's can easily take over a person's like. If anyone wants to know my RS username, then feel free to ask, but don't expect me to come on often.

Ups:-It's a multiplayer online game.-It's free, and to become a member, the fee is quite cheap and you'll get hooked onto the game(if you like RS that is).Downs:-Not so great graphics.-No storyline. I don't see quests as part of the story.-Bad updates.-All you do after beating quests is getting money and getting stronger.-Bad community.-Several glitches and other manipulation of things to gain an unfair advantage.Meh, too lazy to type the rest.

Runescape is stupid, doing everything in the game requires so much work. I play FFXI, Maplestory (sorta, hackers have pretty much taken it over, Gunz (same here), and FlyFF (same thing probably coming, stupid GameGuard).

What I like about runescape is that you get to choose which job you want to be good at like mining, smithing, crafting etc. I myself am best at mining and it helps with smithing and not having to buy ores from other people. I do some crafting of jeweleries to help increase how much money I make out of it. What I hate about it though is that it can be very hard mining certain ores, such as coal, gold, mithryl, adaminite, and rune. (Sometimes silver and iron too). There are so many people at the mining areas getting them and it is harder if you are mining with someone with a mining level way higher than yours. You'd sometimes have to wait a while to finally be able to mine what you want. Also, as your level gets higer, the XP points get so large that it would take a long time to finally reach the next level. But overall, it's a fun game to play, especially if you want to kill some time. They're also improving with the graphics of some of the characters like the Imp, Rat and Bear.

I play runescape whenever I'm bored, so mainly early in the mornings or late at night. And if your going to ask why I play runescape over Warcraft for example. I dont like full screen games, I can't be doing other things like watching DVD's or on MSN so... I like simple games that aren't played on a full screen.

I kill Hill Giants, sell their bones for 300-400gp each and make the limpwurt roots (with 5gp and red spiders eggs - spawn in varrock sewers) and then sell str pots for 1k.

What is mis-understood about runescape, is while it hard to get good at any skills, when you actually DO get up there it gets a lot more enjoyable.
