there are always better games, but runescape just draws you in for some reason. it's just the gameply, and the people that are populating the worlds i guess. that, and they are constantly updating it.

Well I used to be addicted to it, but as I played more and more, I started liking it less and less. Soon I got bored enough to quit playing. Sometimes I feel like I want to start again but I never actually do.

I used to be obsessed wit runescape, but gave it up when i found out about MapleStory 
My friend is still obsessed with it and he talks about it

Runescape's only good because it's a great lesson in economics. When you really start to think about how the introduction of raw materials/money works and how alchemy/etc. gets rid of them, it's really a fascinating system.

I WAS LVL 91 AND I LOST ALL MY MONEY I HAD LIKE 50MILL AND I SOMEHOW GOT HACKED, I shouldnt realy hate runescape for that but it made me depressed

I myself don't play PC games, but have seen Runescape played by one of my friends before. I don't think its that bad.

Wow little kids amuse me. "LoLzorDzz it haz bad grafixes." You shouldn't judge a game on its graphics, but oh well, it's your loss when you don't get to play some of the greatest games ever created.Now I'm not saying RuneScape is one of the greatest, and I'm not saying it's the worst, either. It's a lot better when you pay for a membership. The free version of the game is maybe 10% of the entire experience. One of the few things I hate about the game is how long it takes to level up anything at all.== i dont think runescape is fun lol i think it sucks since its not in good graphics

Runescape is the worst game in the history of online PC gaming history. Anyone who reads this post that is currently addicted to Runescape, plz AT LEAST move up one notch on the 'Level of Gaming Skill' and go play Adventure Quest. www.battleon.com (BTW ONLY go to that site if you are a desperate loser begging for a girlfriend.

You people do realize that the game is written entirely in Java, right? It's not going to be a high-end retail MMORPG for that reason.

I personaly really dislike Runescape. It's boring, and they give you WAY to many things to level up. Games like Tactics Area Online are much more fun IMO.
