I'm actually surprised it's lasted as long as it has. Gameplay-wise, it loses its charm really quickly when you realize that raising any skill significantly will take weeks of repetitive grinding.

runescape was good when it was still young i am lvl 63 and it gott sooo boring so now i passd my acc away =S

I like runescape, right now im lvl 55, and very close to gettin 1mill, however to really enjoy the game you have to become a member.

it does get annoy after a while, but are you going to pay $40 - $60 a month for anything better? sure the graphics suck, but its free/cheep.and i'm playing it now.The game sucks wayyyyyyyy to repetitive and the graphics aren't that great either.

playing runescape now 
I'm a lvl 110 member. And yes some of you say the graphics are bad...but look at it.. for a BROWSER based game, they are actually pretty good

i agree with this guyrunescape is really boring, alot of people try to promote runescape (which is really annoying
) i used to play it, got far but never really liked that game...it was just something to do..runescape could be a good torture system if that's all you get to do

ermmm runescape:P man its so boring... i played it to... u cant even die.. and if u do u come back... that's weak... dead = dead! it's always repeting... chop trees... and after an hour u can chop a new type of tree! WOW HAPPY! and that with like all skills... and combet is like. hit 1 2 3 hit 1 2 3 hit

Runescape is a disgrace to ALL online gaming! Anyone who plays that need to shoot themselves. MAYBE if they came out with that game like in 1998?? AND Upgraded the graphics ALOT since then. I dig Tibia if you're going to play a no graphic card needed MMORPG. I also dig Ashen Empires a lot! they have a cool system to their game. Guild Wars is rad, theres so much more out there beyond RS, I dunno why people waste their time with that game. Its for like 4 year old beginner MMOers.

I used to play Runescape, it got a bit too repetitive for me and the game is just whacky now.Anyone who says people who play Runescape need to shoot themselves seriously need to just shoot themselves.It's a pretty fun game, even the graphics serve as a sort of relaxation for my eyes after playing the "uber" online games.

I tried it a while back, and I wasn't really impressed. I can understand why people like games like Guild Wars, Anarchy Online, Ragnarok Online and, heck, maybe even Maple Story, but Runescape is just garbage in my opinion.
