[Official] Runescape topic

I HAVE BEEN PLAYING THAT FOR 3 YEARS.

I got bored within a week.

I used to play, but i have found MUCH better MMO's to play, in my opinon, runescape is a good begginers MMORPG, but once they find better it is outclassed in every way.

I play runescape. I love all MMORPG's. Im level 77 and the user is ancamdrew. you can add me if you wsh.

Used to play.. Only fun is Pking but after a while it sucks

I got to lvl 65.. then gave up. Found out there are much more better things to do. If you are non member, you get bored of it real fast and the graphics suck

Runescape is pure rubbish in my opinion

runescape is the best game for me!

If anybody wants to know what runescape is.This is what it is.A game where you can level up,fihgt other people,kill monster,do quests,become a member and get more things to do.If you want to play Runescape 2,you need to be a member I think.Runescape Classic can be for the non-members.Go to www.runescape.com if you want to play it.It's an online game which is free but if your a member then you pay monthly.I think it's $12 a month.If anybody wants to know,i'm level 27.Have fun and be good

Membership is actually only $5 but it's a little more expensive, maybe $7 if you order by phone.

Runescape isn't too bad. It definetly doesnt rank up with other MMO's but its a decent place to start learning how to play them. I was actually quite addicted to it at the beginning but if you dont become a member as you do run out of quests. also you may get caught in the market and try to gain money through sellnig items which can get repetative and boring. A good part is it does offer alot of different skills to build on which gives you soem extra fun time.

Runescape doesn't suck...

this is the best online mmorpg game ever made. the jagex staff are geniouses. if ne1 in the forums say that it has wack graphics, you probably played it in classic or last year, because they've made some MAJOR changes in the past couple of years. trust me. and every1 says they hate it because of Tutorial Island. Guess what? ITS NOT THE REAL PART OF THE GAME. its just a boring pieace of wizzly to teach you how to play. once your in the "real world" you do many things. right now ive been playing for 5 months and im lvl 64, i have a granite maul and body, rune legs, Saradomin cape and hood, glory ammy (4), black boots and skeleton gloves. my max hit is 14 without pot or prayer, 15 with prayer, and 15 with str pot, 16 with super str pot. nice for a ive monther, huh? oh and i gots 51 mage its not tha hard to make money either, i have a secret in which i could make 10M in one day, but ive never tryed it but my friend does, he has : full dragon(including dragon gloves, or w/e they call it), rune boots, abby whip, and obby cape and glory(4). so, now go to www.runescape.com and give it a try for at least 2 months when u get the hand of it. trust me, you have a 10% chance of giving up.

I mean really, this game is not that freckin bad, jeez.

It's very very very repetitive...not advisable to play if you get bored on that kind of thing easily.

This is a matter of opinion,I may not have the same opinion about this game and I definitely don't.

Well from the posts I'm looking at [the 1st 3 and last 3 pages of this topic] NOBODY MENTIONS ANYTHING ABOUT THE ISLAND.And yes,it is apart of the game,that's the first area you visit before you reach Runescape. And what's to hate about a tutorial anyways? I get enough confused even after learning it.

Keeping secrets isn't a good way of promoting a game my friend.

People who haven't played this would know nothing about what you just mentioned in this little quote here. And from me personally,I could do better.

im lvl 122 and my name is cloudsilver on there but anyways you guys think it sucks but you have never pked or staked obviously it has the best pvp system out of any other mmorpg i have played i mean when you kill someone you actualy get their armor and stuff... and its actualy worth money i mean on diablo 2 you kill them and you get a ear? lol thats hecka gay...

Runescape isn't bad. It's somewhat addicting if you set a goal to accomplish. Members is especially addicting.

ehh i think its alright. im on and off on rs. sometimes i play a lot then i get bored and stop playing. im really good though lvl 106 member =]

runescape is a game for lil children that cant play anything else

I used to play it a few years ago, then realised I had spent my entire 2 week holidays inside mining coal. I used to dream about Runescape and levelling up in the Wilderness, literally, dream. I thought that I should quit cold turkey at lvl 73, I cant remember my password or anything, just that my name was Kaio. It has been a few years and I havent been tempted to play it, all I can remember is how dull it got, I quit around when they were releasing new graphics and I hate the new graphics system, the old one had a certain charm to it. I have finished all the free quests and cant be bothered with membership or playing runescape classic.
