GOD I CAN'T STAND RUNESCAPE, i don't really see what attracts people to it you do a bunch of retarded quest and earn some money i can do that on any other game, the graphics suck to damn it why do people like it!!!!!

As I said .. Id just LOVE to see you PROGRAM a game with graphics all done in JavaScript that are better than actual 3D models .... that are NOT seperate entities, THen animate them in the same code and THEN to let it be used by people for free AND find servers WILLING to host it ..... The runescape team get my full credit as I KNOW how hard programming in MOST languages can be, even graphics in BASIC, Q-Basic and so on can get very complicated and thats just for basic shapes that you see in videogames that are standard like a solid walls texture. AND then take into account that ALLMOST ALL the models seen on runescape were originally coded from scratch compared to Other games where they more than liekly used 3DStudio Max, Maya, Poser or another "Specialist" software application that is more of a point and click interface than a text editor and you wonder WHY they have better graphics than what is capable in JavaScript.... After all Runescape is the ONLY Javascript that I have seen that uses Javascript to its full potential instead of just those annoying "Welcome" and alert boxes that are SOOOOO overused on webpages.GOD I CAN'T STAND RUNESCAPE, i don't really see what attracts people to it you do a bunch of retarded quest and earn some money i can do that on any other game, the graphics suck to damn it why do people like it!!!!!

runescape is so boring, all the clans i see are all trying to be all traditional, so there will have a "king" and all that crap, which really was stupid, you dont make a clan to play "who can suck up the most" you make a clan to gang up on other people. But that aside it still sucks cause making cakes suck and thats all i ever end up doing.Edit: took out "bad" word, that was funny i put in S*it and it replaced it with droppings... okay, mabey it doesn't sound that funny but the context made it funny so... yea

What is it with people and graphics .... GRAPHICS (as the saying goes) ARe only Screen Deep. there are more important things to games than graphics ... Namely Story/Plot, Controllability, Replayability, Entertainment value, Originality (if aplicable) ... WHY is everyone soo obsess with GRAPHICS >_< .. or should I sart slagging all MMORPG's becuase their graphics arent HDR capable like Half-Life2 or even UT 20007.this game's graphics make me wanna stab someone

I used to be a Runescape player, used to play it everywhere. Then I realised how much time I could've been playing something ALOT better... how sad I was... >_> I agree with some of the people here, the game itself is pretty in depth for a semi-free online game... didn't it get a major graphics boost or something?

From a game standpoint Id say its one of the best MMOs out there. Sadly it was written in Java and therefor the graphics are really underpar. Id liek to see a fullout version written in C++ and OpenGL. Id play it alot more then.

But then you would Have to:A: Download it .. and probably end up making it inacsesisble to users with lower end machines or people who use Public access machines.and B: More than lilely Pay for it.From a game standpoint Id say its one of the best MMOs out there. Runescape is a really bad gameand the grafics are REALLY badi played it for like a few months and got bored u should stick to knight onlineor the good old maple story

It's a good game to play every once in a while to relax. I don't play often, but I do enjoy it. Besides, it's free (unless you're a member). How can anyone complain about something that doesn't cost them anything?

when u start u like it,when u reach a high lvl (60+) its gets boring...old acount lvl 65 (nobody can have it)
