i totally agree with u...i started playing when i was young and then i quit because i found other games to play. ppl who still play rs will eventually break their habits hopefully and also find other games... i think starcraft is one of my top games i play.one reason ppl still [play runescape is because their friends might play or just because its a very addictive game.

Just about ALL my friends at school play Runescape and are obsessed with it. I say, HECK NO. I'm happy enough with the other games I got. There are other, better, still free MMOs too. I guess they just don't know that Runescape isn't the only free MMO out there.I personally think Runescape stinks and is confusing and stinks and has bad graphics and... stinks. But I'm not one to go and INSIST that other people hate it. Opinions are opinions.Also, a strange story that I've witnessed: My male friend made a female account to make boyfriends... JUST because he heard that you get free items from them. And really good free items. I just thought...

I used to play for about a year. But they just made a rule that wilderness is confined to a very small area which makes pking lame. and also now they're gonna make it so you can only do fair deals which means you cant even help out friends.

you have it backwards RSC is members only RS2 is free and its $5 a month. game sux thoIf anybody wants to know what runescape is.This is what it is.A game where you can level up,fihgt other people,kill monster,do quests,become a member and get more things to do.If you want to play Runescape 2,you need to be a member I think.Runescape Classic can be for the non-members.Go to www.runescape.com if you want to play it.It's an online game which is free but if your a member then you pay monthly.I think it's $12 a month.If anybody wants to know,i'm level 27.Have fun and be good
well i hate it because theres nothing fun to do there anymore. i had a lvl 95 main but it got hacked.Its a good game and i really like it i am currently 106 combat, with around 50m worth of items after being hacked.Runescape user Name: wee man317, feel free to look me up.Why do loads of people flame runescape? if they took a few hours/days to train and get into it they may find they like itMost people who posted saying they hate it and its boring also said they only got to level 17 or so....try getting higher levels, its fun

Yeah... I played it when I was in elementary school and I still see many kids around that age play it at nearly any library.They play it because it's a free MMO, and thus has a huge community and can be played from school. Which also explains why so many of the people who play is are little kids.
It does kill a lot of time... but it's also wasting it since you could use your time for something better.I extremely hate that game... it was good at first but once you got far it just got soooooooo time consuming its not funny.

I only know chinese kids that play that game in the whole school lol they go to the library and play it cause you don't need to download that game

im done with runescape i have 71 attack67 str71 defence62 mageand im 86 combata santafull zammy3.5m5k lobstersand i use to be a member and i have 99 fletching but i quit as of yestersay hoping by time i play again my santa will be worth 20m+all the rare item prices are dropping btwBlue p hat dropped 140m in 2 days i am so glad i don't own one

I used to be a member and I'm currently combat level 106. I'm glad that free players get to use the Duel Arena, but they took out two good things: the wilderness and the removal of unbalanced trades (this means I can't give stuff to friends). And no, the crappy Jagex updates do not help this matter NOt trying to say that RS is bad, but it's getting worse faster than it gets better...

You know of course the whole point of membership is to fetch Jagex some cash. Regardless, if you wish to become a member, you should do so, because it's a thousand times better than non-members, even if there are some crappy updates. I used to play Runescape until I got bored of it. It sucks when your a high level and I always got my ass kicked in the Wilderness.
