The ports of Tales of Eternia, Breath of Fire 3 and Valkyrie Profile.Altho they shouldn't be considered "PSP rpgs", because they are originally to PSX.Altho you can play them on it!

Kingdom of Paradise is a great looking RPG for the PSP if you like semi-Japanese anime looking graphics, an awesome story line, and a creative attack system. The only real downside is that the camera is fixed in order to make the graphics look so beautiful and keep the game from having extensively long load times.Untold Legends is ok, I haven't tried the Warriors Code since the story was so repetitive and boring in the first game. It is your standard hack and slash RPG.

I don't think there are many RPG's for the PSP. My vote's for Valkyrie Profile's PSP remake, though - Great conversion of an awesome game.

Theres an new RPG coming out on the 21st Called Brave Story, Ive played the Japanese version and its really good, if you like rpgs this is a must have.

Its hard to say the best when the only true RPG on the psp at the moment is the Final Fantasy 1 remake and the 2nd one due this month. I will however say that if we ever get Suikoden1+2 over in the states or if the planned Star Ocean 1 and 2 remakes go well and come to the states, I would be stuck between them. It's a shame that the company known for giving us RPG after RPG, and good ones I might add, can't release anything other than a puzzle or shooter game on the psp.

I hate to say it but the best PSP RPGs are mostly ports like Suikoden 1&2, Valkyrie Profile Lenneth, Tales Of Rebirth, Persona, Star Ocean and FFTactics. Well for those that haven't played the original of these games already these are most definitely worthwhile, otherwise the system is a little lacking for those who have played all these admittingly.
