Hi guys, I'm new here! (My first post ever!) Anyway, I really enjoyed book #5 the most. #4 comes a very close second, and #6 in third place. I loved the way Rowling just expressed Harry's anger, and rebellion while allowing the reader to be in touch with his feelings starting with the 5th book. #4 had a very interesting plot (sadly, the movie kind of ruined my vision of it), and #6 I feel tried to keep in the same vein as #5 but didn't really have much direction. She seemed to throw in Harry's romance with Ginny in just for the hell of it, which bothered me since nothing really had one anticipate this love interest. Although of course, I love the whole series with the same amount of respect.

I go with the 4th HP novel. It's really exciting reading about the tournament matches and HP faces Voldemort which is cool...

i happen to like them all...except for the fifth...it kinda sucked the life out of the series for a little bit...but the sixth book was awesome....

Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix are my favorites. I have never been so into books as I am those two. I love the other HP books too, but those two books were intense.

Book 1 and Book 6 are so different - Book 1 is probably the cheeriest one and it basically gets darker and darker....I'd say I like book 1 better just because book 6 was sooooooo depressing (won't mention anything in case ppl haven't read it yet).I'd say book 3 is my favourite out of the 6, but they all come pretty close.

My favorite was The Prisoner of Azkaban because there were so many surpises. Sirius was introduced and who knew he'd be Harry's godfather at the end? It was also, to me, just more fun to read. I don't really like the books which came out after P.o.A as much.

Prisoner of Azkaban is the best book in the Harry Potter series! It was the time you actually felt hope for Harry that he may live with Black! I really love that book!

I like Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone because that's when everything first started! I also like Goblet of Fire, because I got it as a gift from my uncle!

I agree with Viance, the first seems much better, and the later ones seem to be going downhill (for me that is). I feel like much of the suspense have been lost and there were much higher expectation and hype for the sequels due to the success of the first book.
