Someone left Dance dance revolution extreme in the wooden drawer for like 2 or 3 years and by the time I found where it was oh my god.... It was so badly scratched up. x_x The good thing was that on the Christmas that I received that game I actually received 2 copies of it.

No but i have scratched a disc a little before. I put all my games back in their cases though so it is hard for me or anyone else to step on it.

I have never broken a disc, as in snapping it. I have,however, had discs accumulate so many scratches that they are no longer usable.

my friends tell me i don't take care of my games that well, but i don't try to break them. the only time i broke a disc was when i had my gamecube in the back of our minivan, and i didn't have a place to put the discs. so, i put them in the backseat pocket along with some dvd cases. sadly, after a trip, my sonic adventure 2 battle disc had a whole chunk ripped off. i was sad.

My son had some games in a small flimsy CD holder stashed in his back pack along with books and such. You couldn't tell they were broken until you tried to play them. This was before I discovered ISO's.

Never. I keep all my stuff in top notch condition. No broken discs and no scratches. If i get mad at a game, I usually smash something else. Something less valuable.

I almost broke a disc, I stepped directly on the case and I thought I broke it but its still fine, just that the case is almost in two pieces

yep, it was a rental, i picked up a 360 while the game was going, we took it back and said it was broken, then got a new one.Have you ever snapped a Ps2 disc or got a massive scratch or something? I never have just wanted to know if anyone has?

I stupidly put a disc in my pocket (why did I do that) and it broke it two. The bad thing was that it wasn't even mine, it was my friend's copy of Red Faction 2. He tried to tape it back together!
