A few years back my sisters huge St. Bernard stepped on the top of my PS2 Slim. The console still works fine but the disk inside (smackdown vs raw) was split in two. That's the only disk I've ever had break on me though.

I beat Call of Duty 2 on veteran the snapped the disk and threw it into the fire pit outback.

Um.......yes. I only have a few Playstation games to begin with since the system is technically my younger brother's and he hardly lets me use it. However, he also let the inside of it get SO dusty and dirty inside that on one of the occasions where he DID let me play one of my games, the disc came out scratched as all hell I was VERY upset. As for intentionally breaking a disc, well... Again, the answer's yes. It was an act of revenge, I hate to say. This was a LONG time ago, and I forget what ever made me do it. (He did something equally as rotten to me first that pre-empted it, I remember. I'm usually not a destructive person in the least, so this is strange for me!) But I took the disc out in the yard and threw it, expecting it to shatter for some reason. Obviously, it didn't. I threw it a few more times, and at best, a chip came off. So I started jumping on it, scraping it against the gravel with my shoes, and eventually bent and snapped the dang thing before putting it back in the box, all smashed to bits. Needless to say, this pretty much sparked off WWIII between us for a while.

I had a friend who would break those Jam Pack discs or w/e (with the demos). Never understood why.To intentionally break a disc is sad. :nea:Maybe old copies of Madden etc., but besides that, if the game can still be played, someone somewhere might play it.
