I have never damaged or destroyed any of my games, personally. They only get messed up (or lost) if I loan them to someone. I remember loaning Devil May Cry to a friend and his dog chewed a hole through the disc. Ridiculous. Don't let anyone borrow anything is the best rule for keeping your stuff safe.

I came bcak from practice ones and I still had my cleats on and I accidentally stepped on on of my disks. It didn't break, but it had a big scratch on it

Yeah.Only after I put it in the microwave. But other than that..I got so mad at one game that I ripped it out of the PS2, broke it in half, and threw the random shards of plastic/glass/whatever at my brother.

I've never broken a game before, but I did rent a game once from the local place around here. When I got it home I opened the case and the disc was in two pieces. It was Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together for playstation too, it was kind of sad to see cause it was the only place I had access to the game at the time :P

Yes, plenty of times, by dropping it, smashing it, getting upset and breaking them in half (super duper rare), etc., it happens what can you say.

Yeah, unfortunately I've made a huge crack on one of my favorite games, NFL Blitz 2000, for the ps1.
