Not only were the games fun to play but the most exciting part was the things that could happen to you while in the casino. For example someone might approach you and ask to borrow $50. Then one of two things could happen. They would win the jackpot and split it with you, or they would mug you or something. There were all kinds of situations like that, that made it fun to play with your friends and see who could make out the best. Well nobody mentioned Metroid i really like it, Castelvania is very good but the best for me is Super Mario 3 that's all i can remember long time no playing NES

Super Mario Bros. 3 - but that's a given.Sports wise, Tecmo Super Bowl is certainly the best football NES game out there.Other underrated favorites are 1943, Super C, Gumshoe, Tecmo NBA Basketball and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II.
