I thought it was going to be sleek like psp... well i was wrong. I dislike the entire outer design. Man why coudnt they come up a nicer look, similar to xbox 360s.

The Xbox 360 having a nice look? I myself am fine about the design because, well, I chuck stickers and the like all over it.

PS3's design looks great IMO - so much better than PS2. Bit iffy about controller, but we'll have to see how it feels when it comes out

Since this topic is about the console DESIGN, I'll have to say that it looks...Terrible.It is extremely clunky and a blinding shade of silver. Man, if I wanted that I would bust out my 5 year old laptop again. Also, there are like a million outlets in the back. I don't want a million outlets. I want something that can play Final Fantasy VII.Also, the "Playstation 3" text on the top -- What's that about? It's Spiderman font.Lastly, the controllers. Everyone has their issues with the controller. Because I am not a monkey, I am unfamiliar with the design being shaped like a banana and a boomerang. Also, they will be wireless, but it is required that you charge them up afterwards. What does this spell? No more all nighters playing Killzone, that's what.BTW, Killzone looks freakin' awesome.

I think the ps3 looks pretty kool. Atleas its not curvy like the 360. But it looks really good in silver.

The PS3 design looks too similar to the PS2's basic design...controller input and disc tray in the front, all other outlets in the back...And the colors are the same dull colors (black, white, silver, etc.), never any exciting colors like RED...Well, I guess there's always design modding...

Here's what I have to say:Design: Meh, Im not too excited about, but it could have been worse. It still looks better than the others IMO.PS3 Font: I like the spiderman font. I prefer the original font, but the spiderman one is cool, and I dont understand why people are hostile towards it.Controller: The controller may look different, but what you guys are doing is unfair. You're saying that its not comfortable, yet you wouldnt know cus you havent played one yet. The design does leave much to be desired, but if its comfortable, then its OK in my book.

It looks good. The controllers look weird the girls can have alot of fun with that thing (if you know what I mean). But anyway it looks clean I like it.

The controller looks uncomfortable to use.The system is fine even with the spiderman font and I think it comes in white, silver and black.

For the Console design id give it .............................. 9/10 buddy its awsome least it doesn;t look like the Xbox, the xbox looks like a freaken clump of rock that u dug up from ur backyard -.-As for the controller......................7/10 it doesn't look that great but ur not being fair to it, u never played wit one so how the Fu@k wud u noe it its good. If u dun like go buy the controlers that MadCat or some other company will release.

the design looks good. i like it. as for the controller. Do you ppl honestly think Sony would invest millions of dollars making something, and then have and uncomfortable, crappy controller? I own several sony products (excluding gaming consoles and computers) and they are extremly easy and comfortable to use. As for it being wireless, and power running out, i heard that it would draw power from the main unit (wireless power router) so no recharging.

i quite like the look of the console ut definately not the controller. thing that annoyes me most about ps3 is the fact that it doesnt have a 'disc draw' its just has a thing like car stereos where it pulls the cd in itself, i always find my discs gets scratched up more with disc loading things like that

I think the Ps3 looks just plain ugly.. and common whats with the spiderman text on the top of it? bah but still it can look like a toaster aslong as it played thoes sweet sweet looking games

I think it's a fine enough design. Well, maybe the reason I can say that is because I ain't planning to buy one. I gonna go with the 360, that's more my style.
